PersonaMap is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as assessment responses and account details. We also collect basic usage data to improve the platform experience.

Assessment and Personality Data

When you complete a PersonaMap assessment, we collect:

  • Your responses to individual assessment questions
  • Your assessment progress and completion status
  • Your personality type results, including meta-type, element alignment, and archetype classification
  • Your user context selection (such as founder, coach, or individual)
  • Timestamps of when you started, paused, and completed the assessment

This data is stored in our database and associated with your user account.

Co-Founder and Team Comparison Data

When you invite a co-founder or team member for a personality comparison, the following applies:

  • Both parties' assessment results are used to generate compatibility insights
  • The inviting user can view comparison results
  • The invited user consents to the comparison by accepting the invitation link
  • Either party may request removal of the comparison at any time
  • Deleting a comparison link removes the comparison data but does not affect either party's individual assessment results

How We Use Your Data

Your assessment data is used to:

  • Generate your personalized personality profile
  • Provide co-founder and team compatibility insights (if you opt in)
  • Improve our assessment algorithms and question quality (using anonymized, aggregated data only)
  • Send you relevant content based on your personality type (only with your consent)

We do not sell, rent, or share your individual assessment results with third parties. We do not use your personality data for advertising targeting.

Data Sharing

PersonaMap does not sell your personal data. We may share information with service providers who help operate the platform, subject to confidentiality agreements.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your assessment data is retained as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account settings, or by contacting us at support@mypersonamap.app.

Upon account deletion:

  • Your assessment responses are permanently deleted
  • Your personality results are permanently deleted
  • Your co-founder comparisons are permanently deleted
  • Anonymized, aggregated data derived from your responses may be retained for product improvement

We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (including assessment results)
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Object to certain types of processing

International Data Transfers

PersonaMap uses Supabase for data storage. Your data may be stored and processed in the United States and other regions where Supabase operates. By using PersonaMap, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations.
